Email audits

Email audits are my pride and joy. Having delivered over 50 for various SaaS and e-commerce companies, I help reign in focus for those that aren’t sure “what’s next” for their email program.

In my audits, I review all live automations or flows, the past 6-months of one-off campaigns, and I summarize my report into:

  • A high-level summary of my findings

  • Review of deliverability and engagement performance

  • Segmentation and automation

  • Accessibility and email design

  • Lifecycle of your user

  • And then I will outline 3-milestones that I have identified as areas which you should invest focus into, and those will completely range from client to client — some examples that I have prescribed previously might look like:

    • Better website strategy for email acquisition

    • Abandoned cart flows

    • Longer welcome series

    • Use of data and events for personalization

Ideally, at the end of this report, you’ll be able to easily look at your email program with a “stop-start and continue lens” and know where you should be focused for q1, the first half of the year, or the whole year depending on your time, and resourcing.

Speaking Engagements

  • Putting together a virtual event? I have spoken at over 15 virtual events on topics both broad-reaching and specific (ie. how a vinyl siding company can drive email growth).

    I charge a per-event speaking rate, or may be able to offer the webinar at a free rate depending on the audience and content.

  • Woooo! Pre-covid conference times are back! I’d be happy to speak at your next in-person event.

    I require that flights (from Vancouver, BC) are covered, as well as accommodation. Please reach out to inquire about my speaking fee.

  • Are you looking for a guest speaker for a digital marketing BootCamp, or email marketing program?

    I charge a project fee based on:

    • Material produced (and if the students need copies)

    • Time commitment

    • Pre-recorded vs. live

    • Frequency of the course (ie. multiple sessions a month vs. one cohort once a year)

    • Depth of material covered
